Defensive House Fire in 506's Due JANUARY 16 - Company 7 units responded to the reported room and contents fire in six's first due. Units arrived to find the structure fully involved. Units were on the scene for two hours providing fire extinguishment (E507) and rural water supply (K507 and AC507). Working Fire in Company 511's Due JANUARY 10 - E507 was dispatched in the early morning for the reported fully involved townhouse. Initial dispatch included a report of people trapped and a second unit involved! E507 arrived as the fifth engine on scene and was promptly assigned to Utility control for the involved gas meter, then secondary search of the neighboring structure, then extinguishment of the rekindled fully involved room and contents, ... First Engine Call for 2010 JANUARY 02 - On New Years Day Engine 507 and Medic 507 were dispatched to an auto accident on Lake Jackson Dr. and Prince William PKWY. This was a rear end collinson but arriving on the scene it looked different. Open House OCTOBER 24 - The Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire Department will be having an Open House on Saturday, October 24th from 11am to 3pm. There will be activities for all to enjoy. Moon Bounce, Free Blood Pressure tests, Free food and drink, Smoke Detectors if needed, Tours and demonstrations of our facilities and equipment. Fire in Stonewall Jackson's area JULY 19 - E507B was Dispatched to a town house fire at 12:12pm report of fire on the back deck with fire spreading to the house. Plane Crash in 7's Due JUNE 26 - Early Friday evening a 2 person experimental plane crashed at the end of Moore Green Drive. Engine, Medic, Ambulance 507 responded. Chief 507 requested additional assistances more members responded with Utility 507 and Gator 507. The patients were taken to local area hospitals for check out.
