The Lake Jackson Volunteers, along with the assistance of the Prince William County Fire & Rescue System, provide Fire Prevention, Suppression, and Protection to the citizens of Prince William County.  Volunteers and Career Staff provide 24x7x365 Fire services from our station.

The Lake Jackson Volunteers, along with the assistance of the Prince William County Fire & Rescue System, provide Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the citizens of Prince William County.  Volunteers and Career Staff provide 24x7x365 EMS services from our station.  We provide both Basic Life Support (BLS) as well as Advance Life Support (ALS).

The Volunteers at Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire & Rescue, along with the Prince William County Fire & Rescue Service, provide support of swift water, ice rescue, and other water related emergencies.  In order to achieve this, both Volunteers and Career staff operate a 24x7x365 fleet of Boat Support apparatus.

The Boat Support apparatus is made up of the following pieces of equipment:

The Volunteers at Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire & Rescue, with the support of the Prince William County Fire & Rescue Service, love to interact and educate the community.  A strong part of our mission is to share knowledge that helps everyone remain safe and healthy.

As part of our Public Education & Outreach programs, we provide the following services

  • Station visits and tours
  • School visits
  • Demonstrations at public or private events
  • Scout troop visits
  • Smoke detector testing and installation
  • Car seat inspection and installation

The Volunteers at Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire & Rescue offer additional Fire and Medical  services to assist with events occurring in our First Due service area.  An example of some of the events that we participate are as follows:
