George P. Mullen and Sandra Dutemple Hall Rental

The Lake Jackson Volunteer Fire Department (LJVFD) offers a large hall for all your special events. All proceeds from your rental help to support the operations of the firefighters and emergency medical personnel that serve the Lake Jackson community.

The hall accommodates up to 200 persons, includes various facilities, and is ADA compliant.

The LJVFD Hall is available to rent for $300/hour. There is a four-hour minimum rental requirement for weekends (Saturday-Sunday), and lower rates for weekday events. The Hall will not be available for rent most Friday evenings as this is reserved for our weekly bingo events.

The hall is approximately 3750 square feet. High ceilings and windows on the side wall create a light and open feel to the space. The facility is designed as a single story, ground-level facility with easy access. A large parking lot is available.

We offer rectangular cafeteria style tables to support events. Setup can be completed by the Renting Party. There will be an additional cost if preference for setup is completed the night prior to the event. The security deposit will be forfeited if food or beverage containers or other trash are not properly disposed of in the trash receptacles provided in and outside of the Hall.

The onsite Kitchen may not be utilized during the event due to regulations associated with our bingo events.

Adequate power and outlets are available for DJ’s or live bands. We do have a sound level limit, which will be enforced during the event, as necessary. No other A/V capabilities are provided by LJVFD. We recommend you use a DJ for other A/V needs for your party. There is a projector with HDMI connection available upon request.

Alcohol is permitted in LJVFD’s banquet hall. Renting Party must obtain an ABC License prior to the event. https://www.abc.virginia.gov/licenses/banquet-licenses

LJVFD personnel will be on hand in the hall manager’s office during your event to answer questions, respond to emergencies, restock supplies, and handle opening and closing of the hall.
